COMMANDO Scout E100 Series Unmanaged Switches Datasheet

E100 Switches

Product Overview

COMMANDO Scout E100 Series switches are unmanaged plastic, Plug and Play switches. It is an economical way for SOHO to take advantage of Gigabit Ethernet speeds while reducing energy consumption and minimizing noise output. This series switches are available in 5 and 8 Fast and Gigabit Ethernet ports. Designed for operational simplicity to lower total cost of ownership, they enable scalable access layer home and small office operations.

COMMANDO Scout E100 Series switches can be quickly set up with plug and play with Zero Touch Provisioning with desktop enclosure. COMMANDO Scout E100 series unmanaged SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) Switches, are designed for Small Business Networks, unmanaged Switches empower your growing business with instant connectivity and reliable performance at a very affordable cost. All the RJ45 copper interfaces support 10/100Mbps & 10/100/1000Mbps Speed on all ports depending on models for high-speed network connectivity, auto-negotiation for optimal speed detection through RJ45 Category 5, 5e or 6 cables.

COMMANDO Scout E100 series switches can identify and determine the correct transmission speed and half/full duplex mode of the attached devices. It also supports standard auto-MDI/MDI-X that can detect the type of connection to any Ethernet device without requiring special straight or crossover cables, Store-and-Forward forwarding scheme to ensure low latency and high data integrity.

Features and Benefits

Easy to Use

Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (10, 100, or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. Its compact size makes it ideal for desktops with limited space. Dynamic LED lights provide real-time work status display and basic fault diagnosis. Easy Installation, Plug-and-play installation with no configuration required.

Fast Ethernet/ Gigabit Unmanaged SOHO Switch

Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch series offers a wide range of models for different network deployment requirements. These energy efficient switches are well built and rigorously tested to provide the reliability businesses need.

Product highlights

Cost efficient 5 and 8 ports 10/100Mbps and 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet switch models
Supports Auto-Negotiation – It senses the link speed of a network device (either 10, 100, or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance
Supports Auto MDI/MDIX – It eliminates the need for crossover cables
All ports capable of Gigabit Ethernet connections and provide full speed of data transmission with (Auto-Negotiation/Auto MDI/MDIX) model
Plug and play with zero configuration installation
Supports Store-and-forward Switching
Supports MAC address auto-learning and auto-aging)
Backplane Bandwidth: 1Gbps-16Gbps
MAC address Table: 1K-4K
MAC Address Auto-Learning and Auto-Aging
All ports support jumbo frame transmission
Plastic casing, compact, fanless with desktop and wall-mounting design
Supports Power down Idle Ports – When a computer or network equipment is idle or off, the corresponding port of a traditional switch will continue to consume
considerable amount of power. However, COMMANDO Scout E100 Series switches can automatically detect the link status of each port and reduce the power consumption of ports that are idle.
Green Ethernet technology saving power up to 70%
IEEE 802.3x flow control provides reliable data transfer
Comes with One Year warranty

Technical Specifications

COMMANDO Scout E100 Series Switches support IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T Ethernet, IEEE 802.3u 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet, IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.3z Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.3x Flow Control, Energy Efficient Ethernet. Supports Auto-MDIX function, automatically identify straight forward cable and cross-over cable. Supports port auto-negotiation function (Automatically negotiate transmission rate and Duplex modes). Supports the Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) standard, which reduces energy consumption by monitoring the amount of traffic on an active link and putting the link into a sleep state during quiet/idle periods.
